Gwen Sebastian, best known from Team Blake from “The Voice,” is a female country vocalist that deserves to make it big in the genre.

Sebastian sings background vocals for Country Music Association (CMA) “Male Vocalist of the Year” winner Blake Shelton in his live shows, and she also tours with his wife, the reigning CMA “Female Vocalist of the Year” winner Miranda Lambert, and therefore she has the backing of country royalty.

Her solo work is quite impressive as well, especially “Small Town Soul,” where her crystalline vocals are reminiscent of Pam Tillis and Reba McEntire.

Sebastian was a contestant on the second season of The Voice and her mentor and coach, Blake Shelton, recorded a duet with her entitled “My Eyes,” which he released as a radio single, which reached the top of the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts. It was quite the spectacle when they performed it live at Madison Square Garden this summer.
